Hey all,

I have just seen that there is no post about GH2 so I had to rectify this!

Personally I really love it, gathering many achievements already. I like the new controller design very much the shape really works and the fret buttons are sweet, nailing hammer-ons and pull-offs much easier now.

I am a die hard GH fan owning both 1 and 2 with two controllers for the PS2.

Now many of you may think that upgrading from PS2 to 360 is not worth it but in my opinion it is, I mean the graphics are improved quite abit when you study it, they seem to have added some bloom (?) of sorts. The sound is now in Dolby Digital which is very nice to know - all songs have been remastered.

The load times are amazing, 3/5 secs and you're rocking out! Razz

My controller is a dodgy one. I get the whammy to work best when I use force to get it 'started' then it seems to work. See here for info on possible recall

Another note is that this is one of the first 1080p games (should be getting a new 1080p TV soon) so this is awesome!

To close, this is worth it in the long run too as the controller has been confirmed to work with Rock band

Yea, I have played this game too and I must say it is a very sweet game. I think it was a ok to buy the 360 one when you have it for PS2. But the whammy bars get loose and just fall down when you put them in place so that isn't very appealing. I would have to say that this is one of the best games right now, just because of how intense it can get when you are tryin to beat a song on hard or expert.

I actually have no problem with my whammy bar falling, it feels pretty stiff really. If you check out my achievements I'm really going for it on this one.

Overall the achievements suck tbh, as in they give you 10 gamerscore for sitting through the credits (10/15mins grab a beer) and then only 30 (?) for completing Buckethead's Jordan on expert, are they crazy!?!?!? So this means I have alot more practice to go before I get all 1000. I can do most songs on hard on the GH on PS2 so i'm working my way up to Jordan.

Yea that is pretty dumb, but they can't make all achievments easy. The game has to have some challenges involved. Also I agree with the credits achievement......those credits take foooooooreeeeeevvvveeerrr.
