The problem I was having with him, is the switch is old. Linksys seems not to even support it any longer. I was trying to figure out what the ip was to hit the cp of the switch, to look around. I'm still looking into, and will give him a call again later in the day when he gets off work.

i just don't understand, why wouldn't it work if i put in the EXACT same numbers from my pc and just changed the cables so that the xbox would be in the same input as my computer was....

okay, i can get my computer to run fine with these settings....
so i switched the acble coming from my computer to the one going to my 360....then i went into the 360 and input all the EXACT same numbers and tried that, still didn't work...i think i am about to throw this P.O.S. against the wall...i am just REALLY getting tired of having to unplug and plug the connection in every time i want to use the my computer....and i really don't want to go out and spend a couple of hundred on just a 2 switch deal...

Ill give linksys a ring when my kids hit the sack. If I have no luck, I'll throw up cheap routers that you can buy. Let me talk to the indian's at linksys and see if I cant get switched to an american techy.
