I rented this last night and all I can say is it's now my favorite racing game. Wow, the graphics are great!! I'm going to have to go and buy a copy on my way home from work, can't wait to get good and play it on Live!!

You are talking about Need For Speed: Carbon, i downloaded the demo and thought what a pile of s**t . Played it once and deleted it, the driffting part was appalling.

even though nfs franchise ( carbon ) is tooo short. but is a good game to get distracted and . i think playing online is alot better. even though i had not done it yet.

I used the demo and I thought it was great. I may get it and it did look nice.
I just got Phantasy Star Universe and Marvel Ultimate Alliance and now have to play on a 20 inch VGA LCD monitor. Still looks good. Not as good as my long lost HDTV. Oh and sadly my LCD monitor doesn't work with the 1900*1080 mode. It works but everything is far bigger than the screen. Arg.... I wish there was more time in the day. lol I browse these forums all the time, read on how to modify the 360 and rarely play. lol I guess I'll let the kids start doing game reviews as I'm more interested in modding the system than playing it, go figure. I did play Dead Rising for about an hour a week ago and quite liked it. Maybe once we're in our new house and other things have settled down I'll play Carbon and D.R more... wow, still can't believe how much better the graphics are on this over the PC and I have a fairly beefy comp. Prime example...NHL 2k7 looks way better on 360 than on PC.

If you enjoyed the last Need for Speed then im positve you will enjoy the latest release CARBON..
I have it and the drifting is great.. Races arent too bad..
Still the same game really just pimped out..
I must admit its a hell of alot easier then the last one..
Im 83% finished career and ive only played for 5-6hrs..
It has some nice online cop chases, races, sprints and more..

NFS Carbon is ok...
But i thing this is the worst NFS. I've just bought it last week and i was very disappointed...
OMG, the drift race is so poor...
The cars variation is very-very poor...
The modification is so poor....
Everything is poor here in NFS....
