I'm decent with 3dsmax and C. So my goal is to get the many people on this site who have great skills to create a one of a kind game in which we could possible publish to XBLA or win the dream game contest with. Also let's stick some anti X-scene easter egg's in it. lol

I'm not that great with the actual development part, but I'm pretty good with design ideas and testing, I've had quite a lot of beta experience, and plan on getting the Creator Club membership if anyone else is interested.

I would be interested in helping but i'm not sure if my skill set is what your looking for.

I'm a programmer by trade (COBOL for a bank) and have taught myself a little C# (from Teach yourslef C# in 24 hours book) but have not really used it to produce anything (except the example in the book).

If you think you could use me, let me know, if not no problem.

my skill level is basic as well but I'm learning quickly and I have a friend named Robby who is a genius with C. So i think we are in good shape just make sure you guys download xna game studio, direct x sdk october 2006, visual studio 2005 express. All of those things are free!

Personnally i think that FPS have been done to death, an RPG is probably to complicated. So either a platform game or a puzzle game.

Would it be best to stick to 2d like Cloning clyde?

Go for it.. See what other members you can get interested.. The more you get the easier it will be to develop and test..

Great idea.. Should bring the HQ community together alot more too.

Right now I'm still trying to get the basics of xna. I download the torque x open beta engine from www.garagegames.com It's very interesting stuff. Any releases I will post here for others to mess with! I'm working on a very basic 2d sidescroller as of today to help get the baics before we swing into something big. I will be pm'ing everyone soon with details!

BTW forahobby do you think we could get a forum for xna related stuff! Thanks
