My launch 360 died,i flashed the hitachi no probs.Now i've got to get a new 360,going to get a core system this time as keeping hd etc.First off,i'm in the uk,what chances am i going to get a tosh/samsung drive now? If i get the new hitachi then i'm stuck flashing for a while/ever? Also,i used a usb2 to sata cable to flash the hitachi with success,if i manage in getting the samsung 360,will i be ok with the usb sata cable again? Thanks in advance!

No real way to judge on how likely you are to get a hitachi, then even if you do it very well could be a v78 which as far as I know is still currently unable to be flashed via software. If you get a samsung, the USB adapter will not work, so you are kind of stuck wishing for a older hitachi, maybe go to a store where the stock is older, somewhere they don't normally sell a lot of 360s but have some in stock, not real sure what to tell you. _________________________________________________________

Ok,i've still got my hitachi 47dh,is it possible to use this in the new 360? What would i have to do to use it?

Only if you can get the drive key from the new drive, and if you are able to do this, you would be able to mod that drive.
So basically you are better off just hoping to find the right drive, if nothing else you could try and get one on ebay, or better yet go with one of those mod chips for the 360, some of the new ones will even work with the hitachi v78 drive. _________________________________________________________
