TVersity Media Server is a must have for any 360 user.
It can transcode any divx/xvid movie you have to wmv and stream it directly to the pc.

Here is a small tutorial i have just added:

Streaming DivX/XviD on the Xbox 360 using Windows XP
http://www.360-hq.com/xbox-tutorials-34.html

Ive just been playing with the music and photos sharing and it kicks.
It even works with urls from the internet. So maybe soon i could even add some shares for our media library here..

anyway, post your comments.

If you have trouble setting it up let me know.. Ill do my best to help!

On-the-fly video transcoding for Xbox 360 and Windows XP:

I'll give TVersity a try this week, i did try it befor when it could just do music and pictures but as it only replicated what i could do with M$ media server i didn't quite see the point.

Now that they have a patch so you can transacode on the fly divx/xvid, it seems worth a second look.

Great idea to share some of the sites media library
