I have a Samsung that Im going to do the firmware mod on. I was wondering if I burned the Dos files (Mktflash) to a Dos Startup CD instead of a Floppy would I just type in C;> mtkflash r/m orig.bin to dump my original firmware on my hdd?

i dont think so but im not sure... what i did is just used a jump drive so that it writes back it, if you have one layin around id give that a shot.
