After my last post in which i'm wondering whether i can use the sata to usb cable i bought,should i get a sata pci card for my pc instead? I have the launch version hitachi drive so which card should i get,or does it not matter with the hitachi? Thanks
im not sure but i read that the sata to usb cable doesnt work. not sure so dont quote me on this. anyway the pci card is a good idea. i also want to patch the firmware so i will have to do some research whether the pci card will work _________________________________________________________ XBOX

That gives me some hope i didn't waste my money,i'll have a go in the next couple of days then!

Well,took the plunge and i did it! I can confirm that the sata to usb cable i bought worked and the most difficult part was opening the 360,the rest went easy.I used pirrups's guide so a big shout to him!

Pirrup's the man.. He got in first with his tutorial..
I havent had a chance to flash yet.. I only just got my BLACK KNIGHT xbox 360 case fitted for now.. I didnt have a sata pc nearby at the time. dam it..
Im now thinking about getting one of those 4 wire chips which can be flashed instantly with whatever firmware you like and it leaves your original alone..
ill let you all know how it goes. I have two 360's so i will flash one and probbaly modchip the other..
