isnt that based on what you pay for your points? i thought you could buy different amounts of points, with the larger purchase giving you a better deal per point....

maybe im wrong... but a quick internet search for marketplace point cards shows a big difference in price. some stores are selling a 1600 point card for $19.99 and others as much as $29.99 for the same card.

i have no idea what he has his conversion based on, but id say the safe way to be sure is to do the basic math yourself:

if you pay $20 for 1600 points, then you paid $0.0125 per point
if you pay $30 for 1600 points, then you paid $0.01875 per point
multiply that by the points your item costs, and you have your actual cost
