i was just thinking about how much live gold works,

its less than $2 a week for a year right? ($6.70 a month)

here in nz we have prepaid systems for phones you take in $20 and get credit for calls and texts they print on the reciept, you add your code into your phone and it shows up on you account.

ask yourself how many kids (or even adults) would would spend $2 every single weekend for a 48 hour pass to gold? thats over $104 a year ($1 per day) its soda money, no credit card, no weekdays, 48 hours and its back to school.

cant believe they dont do it, many people wont get gold cos its 3-12 months non stop but if you just want weekends to socialize then you going to spend more money.

Yeh i agree, Xbox LIVE is really cheap when you think about it. It's like giving up a bottle of coke every week.. lol. The reason why i like Xbox LIVE so much is there is not as much hacking and modding as there is on PS3 and PC. It's worth every cent. Kids pocket money these days would be pretty good.. lol

Yes it's cheap and I don't mind paying it because it's pretty damn secure.

If you can afford a $500 console then I dont see why people dont just buy one year memberships.

Didnt they stop 1 month subscription?

Still my point stands if you can bust out $500 for a new console you can bust out another $60 for membership.
