ok so a few months ago i bought a xbox 360 online little did i know it was banned from xbox live. So now i'm trying to make the best of it . So this is what i know about the 360 from what i hear it has a jtag but i have no clue how to check it if it really does or not i know that dashboard i believe is running 1099? It also has nex2 and a xex menu which from what i've seen allows you to burn full games straight to the 360 and able to play without having the disk in the system. So now this is my question and problem my 250gb hard drive is filled with games and i'm looking to get more but before i go off and borrow games from friends i would like to know from my information above if i can play back up games? All i ever see online is you have to have software such as iextreme etc. If these programs allow me to play burnt games what do i look for online when ordering backups for it? Any information you can give me on how to find out or how to do this would be amazing thanks for reading my post

yes your console is jtaged if it has the xex menu and that you can play backups from a external hard drive you just have to figure out what they do on extracting what files or if the whole iso sits on the external i am not sure but from the sounds of it your console is jtaged and should be able to play backups. _________________________________________________________ The one the only Scarface!!

ok cool so the only way to play them would be from a external hard drive not froma disk? i had a 8gb thumb drive that i tried to configure to the 360 but the system wont let me for some reason? how do i go about extracting and all that ? i've never done anything like this so im really confused on everything aspect of it

Actually, you can load them from any device. XeXMenu 1.1 can read your hard drive, memory unit and all your USB devices. You may also want to try installing FreeStyle Dash 2.0 Alpha on your hard drive, it's easy to use and it does all the good stuff, like launch XEX Files (Xbox EXecutable Files), copy games to a selected deivce, NAND Flasher (for updating your xbox 360) and it has a cool User Interface. _________________________________________________________
