Does anybody know how to shoot down a freakin helicopter to get thw achievment??? i have been trying with no sucess

If you are talking about the Bird on the Ground achievement then try this:
on recruit load up War Pig and run along the fence on your right and in front of a bus you will find rockets there, to your right you should see 2 helicopters dropping off men.

Pop one and your good to go.
don't forget to submit tips to our achievements area guys.. It will help everyone out and you can point everyone to your tips.. Ive been working hard to get more upgrades in our achievemenst area so if you submit some info it will help me develop it further.

Haven't had a chance yet Left 4 Dead has been eating up all my xbox time im getting prepped for the second one it comes out a week after modern warfare 2

if you are talking about multiplayer, I load up with the M-60, and Saw by using overkill, then unload on the helicopter until i run empty then just switch guns real quick and unload the next one. also throw the perks that will help, such as deep impact and extra ammo. _________________

Dont you have to shoot one down in the end of the mission where you get the stinger? Does that give you the achievement? Its been a while since I played single player cod4. _________________
