Posted: Sun Apr 12, 2009 10:01 pm Post subject: Problem with Pulse VU 2X and LED arrays
Hi guys, i need a little advice on this one. I have set up two 10 led arrays in parallel and set up a Pulse VU 2X in my 360. The led's are 2.2v, 30mA, 3000 mcd and are using 15 ohm 2 watt resistors. I also have the ROL mod done on the xbox 360 to the pulse vu.
The problem is that even though i have the arrays set up properly and using the pulse vu as it's ground, my led arrays only light up and don't react to the audio from the xbox 360 like the ROL does.
There is no discernible reason why they should NOT be working but they simply don't wanna play ball with the audio.
Does anybody have any ideas why my arrays might not be working correctly with the pulse vu and my ROL is? _________________________________________________________ Predtech

are you using 12v or 5v _________________________________________________________

Yeah i think it's set to mode 1. That's when it fades when it's off and it's in VU mode when on.
The ROL is the only thing that does either of these things. I know that the led arrays should be correct because they have power and are using the VU for ground. It's just too weird considering that the ROL works but the arrays don't. _________________________________________________________ Predtech
