Hi there

I would like hear your opinion about the lastest Whisper fans the Whisper Max

Quote:
The new Whisper Max is a deluxe version of the standard original Whisper fan with additional features:
1) COOLING: Nitro switch allows you to change between 12v and 5v power, more than doubling your air output with the press of a single button! Suitable for use with "game mode" and "movie mode"
2) LIGHTING: One product, 3 colors. When you install your whisper, you can choose between Blue, Green, or Red lights, or not install any at all. You can even change colors later.
3) QUALITY: Ball bearing construction is higher quality, lasts longer

These are the ones that I have in mine. Definately make the system a lot cooler, but it seems like mine runs a little louder now than it used to. Of course it could be because of the extra lights I have but not sure. But they are awesome fans and a breeze to install.

I also have the original non nitro type and they work a lot better than the stock fans.

I was thinking in taking off the intercooler and put one of those. I think my console will survive with the intercooler when the Summer gets one, so I am searching for the best easy and cheap cooling solution.

The XCM Core Cooler V2 is not to bad either 2 fans they hookup through the dvd drive no soldering a bit loud ya but helps push the air right through the heatsinks and out through the base fans. Whisper max is nice and so are the XCM one with the lcd screen those have the temp censers that show u how hot each gpu and cpu are running at too. I been wanting to get the Whisper Max for awhile now but just dont have the money yet to get them as i have to plan for other things right now lmao.

Ill have to grab me a set of these new ones.. Smile
I recommend the old whisper fans already.

All my 360's are running whispers either, green, blue or red.
No problems with them here at all apart from after running my main xbox 360 for 12-14 months fulltime the bearings in the fans got very noisey and the fans needed to be replaced.

I think that my original fans are also becoming more noisey, so next month I am gonna get a Whisper Max. Hope is not hard to install.

I was woundering where do we manage to put nitro button of the 360 case Question Question

Yep, the whisper max are replacement fans for the stock ones. They are quieter and have an option to go into max mode (via a switch) and then they move even more air. I believe when it is in normal mode it will push more air than the stock 360 fans so it is worth it.

Best Regards,
Frozenfire1
