That's niko's test, which means they can put on that whatever they want to to make it look good. You can continue using it if you want but I would never touch it.

Ok you like the intercooler. That's great. But It is not for most of us. Seriously are you going believe a car salesman that his cars are in perfect running condition. Just trying to help you out Bud.

The point is that you cant say something sucks without using yourself.

I have 2 360s with intercooler and its really good... thats why i am recomending...

I am telling my experience and point real testes... Now its up to you if want to give it a try or not. If you dont like it there are other alternatives for "freshing" the 360

Well as far as what I can and cant do is entierly up to me. I am glad your intercoolers have done well for you. I sincerly do mean that. Just like Ford or Chevy. I wil never own or drive a Ford. They may have great cars but, I am a Chevy person and that is entirely up to me. I just don't like a big humk of plastic hanging off the back of my 360. Also I have known of other people with the intercooler and it fragged their 360. Thats why I choose the Whisper over the intercooler. Sorry if you take any offense to what I have said but, that is the way I see it.

Confused It wasn't an order it was way of speaking Very Happy lol

As i said there are other alternatives.

By the way i search for negative feedback i only found people that destroyd their intercooler were totaly noobs that dont know to put a simple "plastic" thing as you say.

Irish what do you recommend as alternative? Whisper?

I never test those but one thing for use it will make you loose the waranty

PS: i dont like Fords too Cool Laughing

I know it wasn't an order, I was just stating that I can say what I want about it. As for what I recommend, the Whisper Max. It has a 5 volt mode for your basic use and then a 12 volt mode for a higher fan speed. As for the warranty, screw M$ and their warranty. I have cracked all 3 of my 360s open, and I i didn't care about the stupid little sticker on front. There are ways to take it off without messing it up or you can just buy the damn sticker off of ebay. Plus if you open up your case you can do other mods to your 360, like a core cooler v2 which is and additional 2 fans inside your 360. Now I am not recommending that you do that but , it is and option that you have amongst many other options. As for the negative feed back on the intercooler, there have been cases of it making your 360 work harder because it is powered through the 360's power, thus making it get hot and getting the RROD. Also because it uses the 360's powersource where the cord plugs into the intercooler gets hot and there have been cases of it melting and warping that area of the 360 and intercooler. So , I am not just turned away buy the plactic turd hanging off the back of a 360, it is because of the damage it can cause. So there is a reason behind my madness.

A lot of people i personally dont give a %&#@ about Microsoft warnaty... i open all my 360s i dont care about marks and the seal... Is not like touching a virgin Cool i dont go with care

If i am not mistaken Darth got overheating his 360 with whispher.

The new intercoolers dont have plastic that can melt and its obious that if you install it if you play with it off it will be worse to ur 360.

But you dont like any intercooler or is just the Niko's one? There more intercoolers

Ok, If you ask Darth he also have done some other things to his box like the x-clamp fix and maybe that could be a contributor to his issue. No I do not like any of the other add on fans such as the pelican cooler, which is run off of the usb on the back of the 360. Sure it gives you a couple more usbs on the back and some different connections. Just like the picture that you posted, I don't like all the extra crap on the 360. There is a lot of cleaner ways to do water cooling. I like the clean and neat look to things but, no matter how it looks it works. Obviously you like the intercooler, and I am glad that it works for you. Oh, and as for the new one not melting, if you get something hot enough it will melt. Now I didn't ask for a confrontation on this issue, I believe the title to your post is "cooling fan pros and cons (asking for info)". That to me is asking our input on the subject and I have given mine. I hope I have been of some help but if not well, i tried.
