I still feel this should have been the way the game came out to start with as I'm sure most of you feel the same, well it didn't so no since crying over it now and the ability to add the missing character to your collection will only cost you five bucks so I'm sure most of you will be getting it.
VideoGaming247.com reports the following: Namco Bandai has revealed that Darth Vader and Yoda will be available as downloadbale content this Thursday for 400 MS Points. We’re still waiting on a confirmation of a Euro price for PSN, but it’ll cost our American bed-fellows $4.99.
The two characters were previously console specific, and they still are, until Thursday, of course.
Seems a bit late and maybe a little unnecessary but they went and did it anyway so if you haven't already got this game or you don't know someone that has the game its well worth the time to download this demo and give it a go, the fans already love it and it is one of the few real fighters out there so why not right.

Looks like msxbox has got a set down with Soul Calibur IVs Katsutoshi Sasaki and found out a little bit more on whats in the future for this fighting game when it comes to the 360, i cant say its all good here but who knows since plans change and that applies to games and DLC.
I have put up the info from this Q&A session that apply to the 360 and heres what we are working with:
msxbox asked: "What type of modes will you be offering on Xbox LIVE? Do you have anything a bit different up your sleeves?"
Katsutoshi Sasaki said: "There are three gameplays online. The first one is the standard fight, the second is a special one to compete against each other with customized weapons and equipment, and the last one is ranking.
“Gold” can be earned by playing Single player. You will be able to collect custom parts by using Gold to create your own character with various skills and looks. We believe that it will be appealing to play online battles with your own character creations.
The players can also compete the ranking on single player arcade and TOLS. Players will have a lot to do, such as aiming for new high scores and earning Gold. Challenging each other surely develops their skills, so this online feature does not only let them play online battle, but also expand their SoulCalibur gameplay."
msxbox asked: In LIVE play will we be able to put up tournaments with more players, and will there be a spectator mode to watch the other players’ fights?
Katsutoshi Sasaki said: We don’t have any plan for tournaments or a spectator mode, but at the multiplayer session of Player match, you can see the opponents battle.
msxbox asked: We know with this episode you are introducing "Critical Finish" moves. How do they work? Can you give us some examples?
Katsutoshi Sasaki said: Critical finish is an attack that you can defeat a guarded opponent with a single attack. Even if your life gauge has low status, there will be a huge chance of activating Critical Finish if your opponent is in Soul Crash status. If the Critical Finish actually hits the opponent, you are the winner. It is a real pleasure when you succeed!
Now here is the real kick in the teeth, msxbox asked: The characters that are exclusive to each console, will they ever appear on the other as downloadable content, we know Xbox 360 fans would love to be able to fight as Vader?
Katsutoshi Sasaki said: There is no plan for that so far. I can understand that the fans have interests in the dream battle… so we are trying to distribute appealing DL contents, but we want you to know that we have prepared huge volume of gameplay which will satisfy everyone who purchases the game.
So there you have it no real DLC that is to include Vader at this time, but dont cry he did say "SO FAR" so lets hold on to that.
