Social Distortion rocks a three pack on to the Rock Band music store. Steely Dan, Disturbed, Elvis Costello and The Replacements also adding tracks.
Three tracks from American punk rockers Social Distortion will be added to the Rock Band® Music Store of downloadable content next week for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and the Wii™ system. Also coming in next week’s lineup is music from Steely Dan, Disturbed, Elvis Costello and The Replacements.
Social Distortion is recognized as one of the biggest names in American punk rock with six full-length studio albums to date and considerable commercial success. The “Social Distortion Pack 01” will feature “Ring of Fire” and “Story of My Life,” both from the band’s 1990 self-titled third album, and “Bad Luck” from the band’s fourth album Between Heaven and Hell (1992). Social Distortion made its Rock Band debut with “I Was Wrong” featured on the Rock Band 2 soundtrack.
The jazz-infused rock sound of Steely Dan makes its first Rock Band Music Store appearance with “Black Friday” from 1975’s Katy Lied and “My Old School” from 1973’s Countdown to Ecstasy. Steely Dan’s notoriously difficult “Bodhisattva” is featured on the Rock Band 2 soundtrack.
Next week’s content update will also give fans access to two tracks from Chicago-based metal outfit Disturbed including “Stricken” from Ten Thousand Fists (2005) and “Stupify” from The Sickness (2000). The band is no stranger to the Rock Band music library with three tracks released to the music store in June 2008 and the band’s single “Down with the Sickness” featured on the Rock Band 2 soundtrack.
Elvis Costello, who made his debut on the Rock Band 2 soundtrack with “Pump It Up,” adds the hit “Radio Radio” to the Rock Band catalogue next week. The track was originally featured onThis Year’s Model (1978). The Replacements round out this week’s update with their track “Kids Don’t Follow” from 1982’s Stink. The Replacements made its Rock Band debut with “Alex Chilton” on the Rock Band 2 soundtrack.

This album got most of it's attention from the long amount of time it was in the making. Guns and Roses fanatics can finally play their favorite songs from the new album on Rock Band.
Harmonix and MTV Games announced today that Chinese Democracy, the sixth and most recent album from Guns N’ Roses, will be released in its entirety to the Rock Band Music Store catalog of downloadable content on April 14, 2009.
The highly anticipated November 2008 release of Chinese Democracy was Guns N’ Roses’ first official music release in 15 years. The band’s 1987 major label debut Appetite for Destruction, featuring the hits “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Paradise City” and “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” has sold in excess of 28 million copies and remains to this day the fastest-selling debut album in history.
Next week’s Rock Band Music Store lineup will feature 13 songs from Chinese Democracy. With “Shackler’s Revenge” from Chinese Democracy already featured on the Rock Band 2 soundtrack, the DLC album includes the following tracks:

MTV and Harmonix today announced next week's downloadable content for their Rock Band Music Store which will be available on April 7th. The content will feature music from Bullet For My Valentine, The Shins, Black Tide and Toby Keith.

The content just keeps rolling in and its to the point you just cant keep up anymore but here is the latest word on whats going to hit the market in the next few.
G4TV's the feed reports: Harmonix and MTV Games announced today the addition of eight new tracks to the Rock Band Music Store, including music from the Steve Miller Band, Godsmack, Belly, Ghost Hounds, Mute Math and Rob Zombie.
They are the usual Rock Band price: $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per track; $5.49 (440 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for the Steve Miller Band 3-pack. The new tracks will be available on January 20 for the Xbox and January 22 for the PS3.
