With 22 years of experience in the video game industry, Andreea Enache has developed and implemented growth strategies for some of the biggest brands in the industry, such as Marvel Entertainment, Sony Picture Digital, Sony Online Entertainment, Namco and Konami. She held management positions at numerous companies, including Senior Vice President at Marvel Entertainment gaming and digital divisions, where, under her leadership, the company launched iconic games such as Marvel’s Avengers Alliance, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, and War of Heroes. In addition, Andreea led the negotiations for numerous strategic digital partnerships with Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, iTunes, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft and Hulu. Andreea will continue her consulting activity in the Advisory Board of Secret Dimension, a video game developer based in California.
UK publisher Merge Games (@MergeGamesLtd) announced a new deal with indie developer RainyGames to publish their upcoming narrative-driven farming and life sim, SunnySide for PC. Xbox Series S / X, PlayStation 4 & 5 and Nintendo Switch arrive in 2022. A new gameplay trailer for SunnySide showcasing never-before seen gameplay content and new inventory UI will be released at GDC.
Announced in 2021, SunnySide is the highly anticipated open world farming JRPG with deep social sim aspects. Players will be challenged to bridge the gap between traditional practices and modern influences as they find harmony in the Japanese countryside. As they cultivate new experiences and build a thriving homestead, they must also let their relationships with locals blossom.

Merge Games and Rainy Games have also confirmed today they will be in San Francisco during GDC from 21 - 24 March at the Intercontinental Hotel where they will have the first hands on code for SunnySide available to play. Personalised Playstyle: Players can personalise their Defiant to match their playstyle. Players can choose a faction, traits, abilities, and ultras, then select from an arsenal of primary and secondary weapons, attachments, and a device to complete their loadout – and even tweak it on the fly (after respawning) to adapt to an ever-changing battlefield.
Competitive Clashes: XDefiant offers a variety of competitive 6-v-6 arena and linear game modes, such as Domination and Escort. Combine that with a large pool of uniquely designed maps in rotation and no two matches will feel the same.
