Originally released on Steam in 2019, Smile For Me’s 2023 release will be accompanied by new features including a remastered soundtrack, controller support, motion controls on Switch and PlayStation consoles, easter eggs, UI updates and new languages. Smile For Me’s Steam release has now been updated to include the above features save for new languages, which will launch in tandem with the console release.

The company was founded and is led by former Playdead (Limbo, Inside) CEO and co-founder Dino Patti. C-level team includes Tadej Gregorcic as co-founder and CTO, having worked with Supercell, LG, and adidas, as well as Senta Jakobsen as COO, with experience at Radical Entertainment, DeNA, Crytek, THQ Nordic, and DICE.
This round was led by Griffin Gaming Partners, with participation from a number of other investors. With an investment portfolio that includes the likes of Discord and Overwolf, coherence is delighted to be working with Griffin, an investor renowned for its expertise and knowledge identifying breakthrough companies in an ever-changing and innovative industry.

The new console versions will offer increased visual fidelity via native 1080p output. Elements such as subsurface scattering and an increased particle count will depict an even more immersive ghost world and cast as players guide slain Salem detective Ronan O’Connor on a quest to find his killer and escape the limbo-like world of Dusk.
In addition to the newly announced Xbox One and PlayStation 4 system versions, Murdered: Soul Suspect will be available June 2014 for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.

MURDERED: SOUL SUSPECT is a dark, detective thriller with a supernatural twist: solving your own murder from the afterlife. Play as Ronan O’Connor, a Salem police detective with a chequered past, whose life is brought to an untimely end by a brutal killer. Trapped in a limbo world called Dusk, he is unable to find peace until he can bring his killer to justice. As Ronan, use powerful supernatural abilities to freely explore the shadowy afterlife. Unable to communicate with the detectives on his case, Ronan must read the minds of the living, influencing their thoughts and actions, and interrogate Salem’s dead to piece together the truth. The afterlife is not a safe place however, and his investigations are threatened by demonic spirits wanting to devour his soul .
