God Mode, the new downloadable third-person shooter developed by Old School Games, has been released via the Xbox LIVE Arcade. The game weighs in at 945.39 MB and it's priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($9.99). A free demo is available for Xbox LIVE Gold subscribers.
Do you like running? How about gunning? What if special abilities are thrown into the mix? Upgradable weapons? Let’s say there’re dozens of on-screen enemies to unleash this firepower on, and as your reward for dispatching them you get experience and gold to collect that can be used for character customization and new equipment–all the while playing alongside friends in 4-player cooperative play! If you like the sound of all this, then you’ll love God Mode. Retro shooter action and RPG elements are combined in this new downloadable third-person shooter.
God Mode combines non-linear gameplay, fast and frantic shooting, hordes of on-screen enemies, a fully functional online coop mode, and features visuals and gameplay that rival that of a full-priced boxed title. Matches rarely–if ever–play out the same, as dozens of in-game modifiers can significantly alter the gameplay on the fly. Characters are fully customizable, both in appearance and equipment, which continually evolve. Gold and experience are constantly accrued and used to unlock new and satisfying weaponry and unique powerful abilities, both of which can be further upgraded.
Atlus Inc. has announced "God Mode" - a new downloadable third-person shoot 'em up with elements of an RPG, all set in a humorously dark view of the afterlife - will release in North America in early 2013 for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC.
Developed by Old School Games, a new studio working in close collaboration with Saber Interactive, God Mode brings together a visceral shoot 'em up with elements of an RPG, all set in a humorously dark view of the afterlife. Players take on the role of a descendant of an ancient god who is turned mortal when his family is banished from Mount Olympus. Each is tasked to battle through the Maze of Hades in the underworld to seek redemption and reclaim their place in the pantheon. Priced at $9.99 MSRP, God Mode fulfills Old School Games' goal of delivering high quality, low-cost downloadable titles in an effort to change people's perceptions of what digital games can truly offer.

Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist at Infinity Ward only recently boasted that it would not be too much longer before all the glitching, modding and hacking in Modern Warfare 2 would be fixed with the release of their latest update fix. Now even more mods have surfaced.
It looks like loads of new mods have surfaced for the console version of the game allowing some pretty crazy things like Spawning with an AC-130, God Mode, Disable Enemies Perks and Golden Desert Eagle. The care package glitch is also working again.
