For those of you who have been living under a rock, Gears of War 3 is the third game in the highly anticipated third-person shooter series which launches this September.
Gears of War 3 takes place around 18 months after the sinking of Jacinto at the end of Gears of War 2. The Locust, now without a queen to lead them, are struggling to survive after being forced to the surface. Human society on Sera has been reduced to small collections of people in an almost feudal or tribal system. Marcus Fenix and a small group of what remains of Delta Squad hole up and continue fighting.
"This is definitely the biggest and most dramatic chapter yet in the Gears of War saga," says Cliff Bleszinski, design director at Epic Games.

The 360-HQ.COM Desktop Gadget for Windows 7, Windows VISTA and WINDOWS 8 allows you to embed one of our custom Xbox LIVE Gamercards directly on your desktop/sidebar. The newest version (v0.5) now features the latest Xbox 360 News.

How to Install:
1. Download the file "360-HQ_Desktop_Gadget_v0.5.zip" to your computer
2. Unzip the Desktop Gadget onto your desktop using winzip or winrar.
3. Double click the .gadget installer to start the install.
4. When the popup occurs you must click "yes" to install
5. Once it has installed and is now displayed on your desktop click on the settings icon (the spanner)
6. Enter your Xbox LIVE gamertag
7. Now choose the style of Xbox LIVE Gamercard to display.
8. Done!
Just remember, if you don't like our desktop gadget you can easily uninstall it at anytime.
WINDOWS 8 USERS:
Gadgets are still available in Windows 8 but you must first follow Team Window 8's simple tutorial to get them to work. You can view the Windows 8 Gadget tutorial here.
Our new Xbox LIVE Gamercards can be embedded anywhere you like and are updated constantly.

If you already have Bulletstorm Epic Edition, now is the time to download the Gears of War 3 BETA. If you don't have a copy of Epic Edition and you have pre-ordered Gears of War 3 from a participating retailer you will able to download it next week.
To download the Gears of War 3 beta is easy. Simply pop in your Bulletstorm Epic Edition disc and click on the Gears of War 3 MP Beta link which is located in the main menu. The link in the menu will lead you directly to the download.

Today in San Francisco, Microsoft and Epic Games announced details on the upcoming Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta. The Microsoft Showcase event also featured additional news for Xbox 360, Kinect, and Windows Phone 7.
The public multi-player beta for Gears of War 3 is set to go on Xbox 360 mid-April and will contain four new maps with three new Versus Multiplayer modes.
Executive producer Rod Fergusson announced that an exclusive gold lancer would be available via the BETA and that it would be yours to keep if you meet the requirement of 90 matches played and 100 kills.
A bunch of new Gears of War 3 Screenshots and official boxart also emerged from today's event. Here is a quick run through of the latest gears of war 3 info with all the extra announcements just after the break.
Gears of War 3 - Kicking off in mid-April, the Gears of War 3 public multiplayer beta will give players a chance to experience three new Versus Multiplayer modes on four new maps, and help shape the year’s biggest blockbuster, set to launch worldwide on Sept. 20 and in Japan on Sept. 22. You can even decide which maps you would like to see in the beta starting today by visiting the Gears of War Facebook page and voting on their favorites. Voting ends on Feb. 28.
