Bill Brownell, Director of US Games Channel Marketing, has released info about tonight's episode of The Apprentice, featuring the Xbox 360.
A few months ago, Wal-Mart and Xbox teamed up and provided a task for an episode of the Apprentice Season 5 that will appear tonight (May 15, 9PM ET/PT) on NBC.
Gold Rush and Synergy compete to create the most compelling in-store interactive display that highlights the digital entertainment lifestyle features of Xbox 360. Contestants have 24 hours to use any of Wal-Mart product assortments to create a retail interactive display that demonstrates the breadth of the Xbox 360 capabilities.
J Allard, along with Wal-Mart's Steven Quinn, Sr. VP of Marketing, presents the tasks to the teams and I'm told you will be amazed by team Synergy and team Gold Rush's creativity as they set up Xbox 360 experiences in the stores.
Wal-Mart will be showcasing the Xbox 360 experience in the electronics department in 1,500 stores. Wal-mart will also be distributing Xbox 360 demo disks that feature extra Apprentice footage, movie trailers, and game trailers. You can find the disks in the Electronics department or on Walmart.com.
