New voice commands for the Xbox Game Pass and more

Only on the Xbox One do you play thousands of games from then and now, - including over 200 exclusive Xbox titles and more than 400 X box classics and tutorials on how to win at roulette! With Xbox One X or Xbox One S, you'll also get full pack of 4K entertainment with 4K UHD Blu-ray Player and Dolby Atmos support - and enjoy the fastest, most reliable gaming network on Xbox Live.

With the Xbox update in July 2019, you can now conveniently search your Game Pass library by voice command for games. Find the most popular new games as well as titles that will soon leave the Game Pass - simply via acclamation. Try it out: "Alexa, ask Xbox what can I say?".

The most important voice commands:

  • Alexa, tell Xbox: open [name]
  • Alexa, tell Xbox: Go to [name]
  • Alexa, tell Xbox: Take screenshot
  • Alexa, say Xbox: Party start [or:]
  • Alexa, tell Xbox: start a party with [first name of a friend]
  • Alexa, tell Xbox: Store search by [search term]

You can find a list of all voice commands of the Alexa Xbox Skill here.

The new features of the update are based on helpful feedback from the Xbox Insider community. Without this help, the continuous improvements in Xbox One features would not be possible. If you also want to help shape the future of the Xbox One and test new features in advance, just download the Xbox Insider Hub to your Xbox One or Windows 10 PC and share your ideas in the Xbox Ideas Hub .
