Battlefield 4 Paracel Storm (Xbox 360)

Battlefield 4's Paracel Storm features intense and dramatic naval combat on swelling seas and stormy oceans with dynamic weather. During the round, air raid sirens alert players to an incoming tropical storm.

On the Xbox 360 version the map features three scout helicopters (that's right 3), three of the new gun boats, several vehicles and jet skis in all out war. Sorry no jets. The third scout helicopter is only available to the team who controls half-sunken battleship. (Flag E). The level is set in the Paracel Islands in the South China Sea.

Battlefield 4 Golmud Railway (Xbox 360/Xbox One)

Golmud Railway is a large multiplayer map featured in Battlefield 4 modeled around Golmud-Lhasa Railway in northwest China. This is footage from my second game on the map. Sorry about the video, it does muck up a bit. I think this was the clip where my phone wouldn't stop ringing and some friends ended up coming over making it hard to play.

Battlefield 4 Dawnbreaker (Xbox 360/Xbox One)

Dawnbreaker is one of ten original Multiplayer Maps in Battlefield 4. Set in a neon-lit city in China at night this map boasts loads of vehicles and focuses on infantry combat. The main difference between the Xbox 360 and Xbox One version is the helicopters, jets, other vehicles and ofcourse the size of the level. On the Xbox 360 version you get to fly the Attack Helicopter while on the Xbox One version you have the choice of either a Scout Helicopter (my favorite) or a Attack Helicopter.

It's harder to take down an enemy helicopter in Battlefield 4. It takes such a long time for everything to reload, so you have to be precise. The Sniper Kit seems to be a lot more fun, don't ask me why.

Battlefield 4 Rogue Transmission (Xbox 360)

Rogue Transmission is one of ten original multi-player maps featured in Battlefield 4. Players can destroy two of the three support cable groups on the map to partially destroy the large dish. The level is based on the Arecibo Observatory.

In Conquest Mode on the Xbox 360 there is only 1 helicopter which spawns once a team takes control of C Flag in the middle top portion of the map. You really need to fight to keep control of this flag. Both teams have a Jet, several tanks, some quad bikes/ATVs and other military vehicles to play with. It's a nice map, and another of my favorites.

Battlefield 4 Operation Locker (Xbox 360/Xbox One)

Battlefield 4 Operation Locker is a multiplayer level that is set in the Kunlun mountains in China. This level focuses on close-quarters urban combat in an old prison with no vehicles. Players can lock electronic gates to force the enemy to take certain paths and the guard tower which is located in the center of the map can be taken down with around 4 rockets. On the Xbox One version there are 3 extra flags and the map is huge. I've played both Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions now and the Xbox One version with 64 players is absolutely insane. Urban Warfare at it's best. First video shows Xbox 360 gameplay, second is the insance Xbox One gameplay.

So what did you think? Epic huh? That's what I think especially while I'm online playing with 64 other players. Great job DICE. It's really amazing to see what the good old Xbox 360 can still do when a game was clearly designed for next-gen platforms. Battlefield 4 is an amazing game on both platforms, so either way I'm sure you'll love it and play it to death like the rest of us.

Battlefield 4 LAG (Network Settings) Tips & Hints:
If you are getting lots of hit markers, BAD LUCK, KILLED IN ACTION, and missing shots while playing Battlefield 4 multiplayer online then it may have something to do with a new setting called "Network Smoothing" that is now available in the OPTIONS menu under network. This option is available on all platforms. I suggest setting this option to 0% rather than the default 50%. This way you will actually see little lag spikes and the game will not smooth out the lag as much. You can chat about this over on our Xbox One forums here and let us know if it has improved your experience or if you have any questions..
