Call of Duty: Ghosts Gets Dedicated Servers on 360, PS3, XBONE, PS4 and PC

Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin announced this week that Call of Duty: Ghosts, currently on track to be the most pre-ordered title this year, will be using a hybrid system of dedicated servers and listen servers for multiplayer gameplay on Xbox 360, PS3, WiiU, Xbox One, PS4 and PC.


Call of Duty: Ghosts takes the critically-acclaimed franchise into the next generation. New world. New story. New, next-gen engine. Ghosts will be the first game in the series to feature dedicated servers on consoles.

As part of an overall plan to improve connectivity "Call of Duty: Ghosts" will be using a hybrid system of dedicated servers and listen servers," said Mark Rubin.

Call of Duty: Ghosts launches November 5th on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC. Ghosts will also be available for next-gen consoles at launch.
