According to c4evaspeaks.com, the website that compiles information provided by Commodore4Eva ("c4eva"), the latest LT+3.0 firmware is now being developed for Lite-On 1175 drives.

Previously it was stated that: "There will be no further progress on cfw for this drive until the encryption algorithm is reversed and the ofw decrypted." It's logic to assume that progress was made with the encryption however no one confirms or denies if the algorithm of original firmware was cracked or not.

One thing is certain for the DG-16D5S, it will become publicly exploited soon.
