If you're like me, you like to treat your console like the amazing piece of technology that it is. I became increasingly frustrated with the carrying/protection case options out there. I bought and returned several before deciding to take matters into my own hands. Below is what I came up with and the steps to make your own if you like it. You can make this in about 30 minutes for well under 40 dollars...maybe less depending on what kind of prices you can find on the materials.
Without further ado...

The Case itself, a re-enforced aluminum toolbox. Found this beauty at Home Depot for the bargain price of $19.99. It's Husky Brand so its tough as nails yet sleek and sexy. There are a few different colors. Silver, Black and Red for sure. I bought an extra for R&D. I dropped it a few times with weight in it and it held up VERY well. It comes with keys for the locks and an attachable shoulder strap.

The entire inside of the case is lined with a nice quality dense rubber matting. Quite ample and more than safe for the 360.
