Watch as Game Director Todd Howard guides viewers through the Skyrim demo that was only shown behind closed doors at E3 and most recently to fans at QuakeCon and PAX Prime.


"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is the next installment in the award-winning Elder Scrolls series, and the next game from Bethesda Game Studios, creators of the 2008 Game of the Year, Fallout 3.

Choose from just about any type of character you can imagine, and do whatever you want. Select from hundreds of weapons, spells, and abilities; The new character system allows you to play any way you want while Skyrim's new game engine brings to life a complete virtual world with rolling clouds, rugged mountains, bustling cities, lush fields.

Bethesda Softworks Game Director Todd Howard reveals more about the game during a three-part video demo of Skyrim which will take you through the mountains, settlements and dark dungeons of Skyrim.

"We've rewritten the render, the gameplay, the scripting language, the faces, the foliage, and all of this comes together in the Creation engine," Howard says. "We're interested in all the details."

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is set to launch November 11th, 2011.
