Xbox 360 Sales 55 Million Units, 35 Million Xbox LIVE membersDate: Saturday, July 23 @ 06:32:58 UTC Microsoft today reported its fourth-quarter earnings results for the months ended June 30, 2011.  The company shipped 1.7 million Xbox 360s for the quarter. For fiscal year 2011, Microsoft shipped 13.7 million consoles, up from 10.3 million a year ago. Since its launch in 2005, Microsoft has shipped a total of 55.5 million consoles worldwide. Additionally, the company said it has 35 million Xbox Live members registered to date.
