Following a leak by GameStop yesterday, Activision and Treyarch have officially announced that the third downloadable map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops is set for release June 28th.
After only leaking the news yesterday here on 360-HQ, Activision and Treyarch have today released the official launch date, price, trailer and a bunch of HD screenshots for the "Annihilation" expansion pack. As we stated in our previous article on Wednesday, the "Annihilation" expansion map pack for Black Ops will cost 1200 Microsoft points and includes four new multi-player maps and a brand new zombie level.
The four new multiplayer maps are titled "Hangar 18," "Drive-in," "Silo" and "Hazard," and the new zombie map is called "Shangri-La."
To celebrate the launch of the new "Annihilation" map pack a Double XP Weekend will start July 1st.
In the official developer diary trailer for "Annihilation", the developers at Treyarch give a behind-the-scenes look at Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo, Hazard and Zombies.
