Microsoft has released a brand new Xbox 360 XDK Development Kit with optional Sidecar attachment, built-in flash memory and additional ram.

The new Xbox Development Kit features additional RAM, built-in flash memory, a larger hard disk drive, and is smaller in size. It is also cheaper than the existing XDK.

An optional Sidecar attachment license that offers extra debugging and disc emulation capabilities is also available upon purchase. The Sidecar attachment is now allowed to be shared across multiple XDK consoles, unlike it's predecessor, making it much cheaper for development teams.

"The redesigned Xbox Development Kit is also an indicator of our continued investment in the platform," said Pete Isensee, Xbox Advanced Technology Group's principal program manager. "It is one piece of our ongoing programs to support Xbox 360 for years to come."
