Well, a new petition to have The Sims 3 patched on the Xbox 360 is now available for everyone to sign. If you're having similar issues maybe you should sign up.  What makes a game enjoyable and a hit? Great game play, excitement, and it must have a great character! In EA’s Sims 3 it has all these and a character you create so you know you are making a great character. I, myself, love this game, but, I came across a problem. The inability to save in the later weeks of this game. According to SinZinDetta “I have played well over 20 hours and it seems now my saved progress loads however anytime I save after this point it freezes. A couple people on the gamefaq website talked about having the same problem”. Also, according to scorpio111666 who posted in EA forums1 “I'm having the same save issue with Sims3 on my XBox Elite. I already deleted one file and started over from my previously saved file and worked myself all the way back up to where I was before and it froze again when I was saving. … I had put over 80 hours of work into this, so I was definitely MAD. Sims is my favorite game. But hopefully it will be fixed in the next couple weeks like they stated”. These were posted in EA’s forum on 11/19/2010 and 11/26/2010. It has been almost 4 months since EA stated that they would have this patch for The Sims 3. A couple of people on The Sims 3 page have suggested writing to the BBB (Better Business Bureau). I talked to a representative to see if the glitch was my fault. He said there’d be a patch when I updated my game. There was no patch, but it was a little bit my fault. The rep suggested trying a new save file every time. I did what was suggested and got an extra 8.6 hours of game play. The save file still crashed. The patch page has been updated on www.ea.com but there is only a patch for the computer version. I am sure most of you have experienced this issue on the Xbox 360 and want it fixed as soon as possible.
