NO GTA IV DEMO! (Rock Star feels a demo would give way too much of the game away)

18 radio stations in total. One is called The Vibe, which is RNB and soul. The other genres on offer include funk, reggae, jazz, dance, modern Jamaican, pop, hardcore, hip hop and a specific Eastern European station.

The full game will take about 100 hours to complete at a normal pace (But much, much longer for those like me that will be spending alot of time screwing arround exploring and seeing how angry we can make the LCPD).

Cars are not customisable, but you can still save them at safe houses.

Paint-N-Spray still in business, it was rumored that Paint-N-Spray would not be in GTA IV but jounalist who got to play for 2 hours said not true, in fact Paint-N-Spray looks much better with employees and now looks like a real working shop.

You can NOT store items in cars. (Did not believe this one at first because of screens released showing a prompt to open trunk, and reports that weapons could be stored in trunk, so maybe the trunk option is just for stealing items and recovering weapons from a specific car for a specific mission, I guess this means not throwing bums in the trunk and driving it off a pier, oh well).

When you grab a motorcycle you can wear or not wear a helmet depending on if you pause for a second before you hit the gas. ( not sure if wearing a helmet changes how much damage you take if you crash)

Car headlights can be put on full beam or dimed, but can't be turned off.

Niko is a master at Krav Maga, a fighting style used by Israeli Special Forces

You can cause characters to fight or even almost cause a riot. It was stated while playing, the gamer was driving towards a pedestrian, the civilian jumps out of the way but right in front of another car which hits him, the civilian lives, gets up and yells at the driver, Driver gets out and shoots civilian.

All cars will have a GPS maping system you can use to map out a course to your destination if you choose, more expensive cars will have a voice navigation system. The Nav system is said to map out the shortest distance to a destination but only using main roads and obeying one way traffic laws, but you are free to take your own short cuts like alleyways, cut through the park etc.

Move from a car outside into your safe house and back out with no cut sceen at all.

Same version of GTA IV will be shipped out to everyone. In the past some content has been cut so it could be shipped to some locals in Europe, But GTA IV will not suffer the same fate. Germany has already rated GTA IV 18+.

Once you die and end up in hospital, you receive a text on your phone offering you to retry the mission.

You can drop grenades and molotov *****tails out of the car window at high speed.

Rather than stoping at phone booths you now have a cell phone that has lots of functions, you can also call out on it, You can call 911, a 911 operator will ask if you need fire, police or medics and where you are. where ever you are in the game niko will verbaly give his location accuratly. moments later the service you called for will show up. what you do with them or to them is up to you. if you need a fire truck to cruise arround in, rather than find one, let the firemen bring one to you.

Expect the unexpected in realism, one player wrote.."I shot one of the cab drivers through the windshield and thought it was cool that he just slumped over in his car. But what I didn’t realize was that all of his dead weight would press down on the gas pedal, which caused the cab to barrel down on me and slam me into a wall"

Cars have real weight now, they dont drive like cars in previous games, they drive like real cars.
