An interview with the CEO from Square Enix revealed a few comments that could ruffle a few feathers of proud Xbox 360 owners. Basically in the interview, it was stated from Yoichi Wada, CEO of Square Enix, that the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 were poorly suited in the current marked with game consoles and that handheld consoles would dominate in the sales category this year, as they already have. He insinuates that the reason is that the Wii and handheld consoles appeal to a larger audience of people is the reason for the success. He went on to mention also that the Playstion 3 and the Xbox 360 were "over-engineered" which offered too many specs – and you also need a high-definition TV, a broadband connection and a deep knowledge of gaming – these consoles are mismatched to today’s environment. In a year or two years they will fare better."

Personally, I think he has some good points, but I love my console (Xbox 360) and if you take away the two consoles he is degrading...there isnt such a thing as next generation console gaming.
