It appears that Microsoft is investigating current claims that some peoples Xbox LIVE® accounts are being hijack and stolen that are linked to Microsoft’s Windows Live ID service.
Bungie.net is also coming under fire with claims that it was hacked and a portion of Xbox LIVE® was taken over allowing for accounts to be hijacked!
With some claimants saying that goods are being brought on their credit cards of upto $800!
And Microsoft’s response to this? Well it appears to have varied from eventually believing the person reporting the issue to "Hackers have control of Xbox live and there is nothing we can do about it." which is very worrying statement to make to anyone, let alone someone who has just had their account stolen.
