Cowabunga! It’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” on Xbox LIVE Arcade

Everyone’s favorite totally tubular turtles bring their radical ninja skills to Xbox LIVE Arcade. The 1989 arcade classic, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” will be available for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360 beginning Wednesday, March 14 at 0900 GMT (2 a.m. PDT).

True to the original arcade classic, gamers will be able to choose from one of four Ninja Turtles: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello or Raphael and master their unique ninja weapons and abilities.

Gamers will have the unique opportunity to play through the original seven levels alone, or with up to three others co-operatively via Xbox LIVE.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” will be available worldwide for 400 Microsoft Points.

- Earn up to 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points

Update: The TMNT download is not available for everyone. We had such high hopes for that one as Ubisoft specifically mentioned a "worldwide release." If you happen to live in the following places, well, sorry and better luck next time: Australia, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan.

The new TMNT arcade game was improved with the inclusion of new features like voice-chat support and co-op mode. Players can re-live all of the original seven levels as Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo. The size of the download is approximately 44.1 MB.
