Lite-On IT next year will start making add-on an HD-DVD player for Microsoft's Xbox 360 game console, which is currently supplied by Toshiba, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN). The paper added that Lite-On's revenues for the fourth quarter will rise sequentially because of increases in half-height DVD-burner shipments.
