The guys behind the Xbox8146 Adapter released info for the firmware they released yesterday for the LG GDR-8164 PC drive contained a bug in the detection of the normal/xbox1/xbox360 disc.
Because of this the Xbox 360 disc extraction didn't work correctly. They are now working on fixing this bug, it should be availble very soon on their website.
The 'Xbox8146 Adapter' adds a connector to the "cheap & reads-everything" LG-8164 PC DVD-drive so you can use it as full replacement drive for the Xbox(1). With this modified firmware you can even read/load original Xbox1 discs on your modded Xbox (what a normal PC DVD-drive normally can't) and you can also extract original Xbox360 discs with it when connected to a PC (can't be used to get SS (yet) though).
