Found Something you all might be wondering a way to do.

From Happy Beggar's Web site

OK, many XBOX 360 owners are asking how can I quickly and easilly convert my XVID/DIVX to WMV so it play on my XBOX 360 console?

There is a quick and dirty (like so so quality but very very fast) way of doing it. Here is how:

You will need to download batch scripts click into the extended text for a link

--shortacid

Here it is

1. Get a copy of VLC from here and uncompress it in the root of your C: drive.

2. Rename the folder to "vlc" instead of the long "vlc-0.8.6-test1-20061031-0330" name.

3. Download the following v2 batch file and save it in the the folder containing the video you want to convert.

4. Drag and drop the video you want to convert on the batch file and watch VLC transcode it to a WMV file. On my 3 Ghz P4 PC a typical xvid file of 42 min will take 13 min to convert.

5. Make sure the transcoded file is in a folder shared to the XBOX 360 via WMP11 or TVersity

6. Enjoy the transcoded file

Cheers and enjoy your WMV on the 360!

Update!

A new version of the batch file has been posted. It fix the issue with "spaces" in file names!

If you want a better looking picture at the cost of disk space you can up the bitrate by changing the vb=1500 to a higher value. The default 1500 value mean 1.5mbps.

If you want to encode to WMV3 instead of WMV2 simply change the "vcodec=WMV2" to "vcodec=WMV3".

If you want higher audio bitrate change "ab=96" to a higher value. 96 mean 96kbps.

Update 2!

Yet another new version of the batch file has been posted. It provides the best picture quality and fixes "blocking" issues that existed with the previous one. Enjoy!
