es, it is true - we have almost completed our first Xbox360 modchip! It has all the trademark xeno design elements that many have come to appreciate:
* Compact design (25x25mm only)
* Easy to use and install
* High quality and reliability
* Low cost
The specs are as follows:
* Compatible with Samsung drive (Hitachi version coming in 2-3 weeks)
* Only 4 wires to solder (Hitachi version will require 6-12 wires depending on drive version)
* Compatible with NME security sectors
* Low-power, 3.3V Lattice CPLD design
* Transistor driver for reliable patching
* Dual LEDs indicate mode (reading security sector, original, backup)
We would like to extend our regards to the people who came up with the ingenious NME security sector. Due to its location (address) only one line on the data bus has to be patched, and on the Samsung drive only one more connection is required to detect if the game inserted is original or copy.
