Guitar Sabotage Published on 08-04-2010
" Call me paranoid yeah, but ive had my electric guitar for years, its a bc rich copy, and i like it. A while back some people sabotaged it and took the springs out from behind the panel at the back once and had to replace them. im pretty sure after that my guitar was fine. for a while since i played in a band i swear my drummers brother must have sabotaged my pick up. the back pickup hasnt worked for a good year now, and ii just took the panel of and had an examine and not only is the pick up no longer soldered to the volume pot, but the cable going to the switch is not connected either. And the way the cable was tucked behind ive looked before but never noticed that cable there and its just completely disconnected. its taken a few knocks, but i doubt the knocks its had would have broken those connections like that. or maybe my dad was pissed when he did it and done a shody job ! lolz "

| hahah.. shouldn't be too hard to fix man, i had the exact same problem with my bass guitar.. Just whip it open and soldier it up.. Sounds like you have a nice guitar too.. :) I used to play alot of guitar, bass and keyboards but these days all i do is jam out on drums. DJB & I went and priced my ROLAND TD-12 from the drumshop the otherday, I've been dreaming about buying it for years now.
anyway, good luck fixing the old axe up..
