30th June 2006 will see the launch of Xploder Media Centre for Xbox 360 – the advanced desktop utility that allows you to stream all digital movies and convert and stream music files from your PC for playback via the Xbox 360.
Not real sure why you really would buy a product like this when there are several other very capable free solutions, but I recieved this press release and thought there might be someone who could benefit from this type of solution. A link to the free alternative is available in the Read More section of this post. Also to answer your question, yes you will still need to have Windows Media Center 2005 in order to stream video to the Xbox 360

Movie streaming via the Xbox 360

Retailed in distinctive metal packaging and complete with a three metre XLink Ethernet cable and crossover adaptor - Xploder Media Centre for Xbox 360 will be available from the online store at www.xploder.net, as well as high street retailers across the UK (RRP £29.99) and Europe (RRP €39.99).
