IntensaFIRE Rapid Fire Mod Review

Today on HQ we review the "IntensaFIRE Rapid Fire Controller Mod" which was supplied by the guys from intensafirestore.com. The IntensaFIRE Rapid Fire Controller Mod Kit offers both a Solderless and Solder solution.

This week I had a great chance to review the Intensafire Mod and I must first thank the Intensafire Store for shipping us out the kit to review for our members here on HQ.

IntensaFire rapid fire kit for Xbox 360 requires no soldering, no wiring, no drilling and only takes 5 minutes to install. There simply isn’t an easier or more effective Xbox 360 controller mod than the IntensaFire for Xbox 360.

The IntensaFire modifies XBOX 360 controllers, allowing them to control 5-mode sleeper settings, and use customizable user programmable modes. It uses the existing Sync button to toggle. Advanced modifiers can use the included button as well. It also enables “dual rapid-fire” – usable in all XBOX 360 games, including gamer favorites: Left 4 Dead, the Call of Duty series, the Halo series, the Gears of War series, and Street Fighter.

I will not be doing a lot of pics of this just the basic ones because in the online and also the instructions they give it makes it impossible to not see what you have to do to get this mod to work. It comes nicely packaged with the torx needed to take your wireless controller apart also comes with the conductive glue for those people that choose the no solder method or if you prefer soldering, for this review i did both the no solder way and the solder way. Also comes with a tooth-pick for the conductive glue.

Scale of Difficulty from 1 to 10 and 1 being easy and 10 being hard i give this a 1.5 only reason i rate it that instead of 1 is still some difficulty for beginners just like learning how to ride a bike for the first time.

Product Highlight:
-Works in all wireless controllers
-5 mode Sleeper Settings
- Customizable User Programmable Modes
- No need to add extra buttons to your controller uses the sync button to toggle through the different modes
-Usable in all Xbox 360 Games
-Does not cost $100's of dollars like most Xbox 360 Rapid Fire Controllers do.
- No Solder Solution or Solder what ever the buyer prefers the no solder solution is the use of conductive glue
-Usable in all Xbox 360 Games
-Extra mode button for advanced modification
-Includes the tools need to install no needing to buy tools unless you are soldering which usually anyone that is soldering has the things they need.
-Has pre-installed leds for each of the modes used no need to cut or add leds to know if your rapid fire mode is on.
-Quick painless install with instructions and also a online video install which is always nice for new people that are starting to get into the modding scene of customizing their gaming products as it really helps to see first hand what to do.

You will want scotch tape to hold the Intensafire down on the controller for installing with the no solder solution or solder solution if you do the no solder solution another good thing to have is a blow dryer if you want to get to gaming right away.

Alright i started off with the no solder solution which is provided in the Intensafire package, i have tried many different types of conductive glue and did not have success, but the one in the package works awesome i applied it on all eight points and used the hair dryer/blow dryer after 10-15mins of letting it dry I then put my controller back together and slapped COD-MW2 in the xbox 360 and tested it out. Everything work great i started off in a private match just messing around with the FAL and Desert Eagle making them fully automatic, was fun just messing around doing this for about 20-30mins then i messed around with the use-able programmable mode which could be tricky for beginners to understand if they did not follow how to use it but after you get your right setting that you like.

After i got it set right for what i wanted i went into a few hardcore games and just owned with it, i shoot really fast without rapid fire mods but this thing just blew me away with how fast it makes you shoot. I had a blast playing in hardcore then just for the fun of it i decided to go into softcore with it and still took out people left and right it felt like hardcore for me.

If you want that extra edge in FPS or any other games this is the mod you want to add to your Controller and at the $29.95 Price it can not be beat compared to those other ones people sell for $100 or even $15-$30 the cheap $15-$30 ones you see have all these different wires and chip that u have to place most also need a extra button added and almost 99.9% of them are in need of some sort of soldering skills and not everyone can solder or want to risk ruining their xbox 360 controller over it either. With the Intensafire No solder solution and cheap price and the way everything is setup and laid out instruction wise and also how it is made makes it well worth it for the non soldering and soldering modder and also offers more features then a lot of these other rapid fire controller mods out there.

Now after i tested it out with their no solder solution i took my controller back apart and took off the conductive glue and cleaned the Intensafire board really good then placed it back on the controller and if you guys out there prefer to solder the Intensafire Rapid Fire Mod is made for you too. I laid it back out on the controller board, fired up my soldering gun and that's all it wrote did the same eight points which are clearly labeled on the instructions that come with it and the online instruction video and that was it put the controller back together and tested it out on COD-MW2 i got the same best results as i did with the no-solder solution they provide with the kit.

All in all i have to say is this is one of the most easy installs i had to do and can easily be done by a new person into modding with no soldering skills at all or even for those hard core soldering people that likes their stuff soldered. Over all rating i give the Intensafire a 10 out of 10 for pure ownage and would recommend anyone looking for a rapid fire solution that has or does not have a budget to purchase one of these bad boys as it is affordable and easy to install and has a lot of features and you will not be disappointing with it at all.

Thank you again Intensafire Store for sending out the sample for us to review. I am for sure picking up a couple more of these when i get a some more controllers, i know my friends will want their own controllers done too.
