A new promotion microsoft is having for the game Skate 2, confirmed the new Demo and shows some prizes that they are giving away for the event. The Demo should hit January 8, 2009, while the full game releases in North America January 21, 2009
Take to the streets and own the spots of New San Vanelona in Skate 2 with new tricks like one-foots, handplants, hippy jumps, and more. Call on your crew to uncap the spots, drain the pools, and provide some personal security.
You can score some great prizes in the Skate 2 Download & Win Sweepstakes, with six custom Skate 2 decks up for grabs as the Grand Prize. All you have to do is register your gamertag and download the FREE Skate 2 demo from Marketplace to enter.

Before registering for the sweepstakes, make sure your Xbox LIVE account information is accurate! Potential winners will be notified by the sweepstakes administrator and have their prizes shipped using the contact info (e-mail, phone, and address) on their Xbox LIVE profile. If your contact info is not up to date you will be disqualified from winning a prize.

Register
There are two ways to register for this Sweepstakes.
Register online here before the close of the Promotion Period, or register for the Sweepstakes via Xbox LIVE Marketplace by downloading the free Skate 2 Demo Registration Gamer Picture.
To download the Gamer Picture:
1. Sign in to Xbox LIVE and access the Game Marketplace
2. Select Explore Game Content
3. Select All Games
4. Select Browse
5. Under Title, Select X
6. Select Xbox LIVE Event Registration
7. Select Skate 2 Demo Registration Gamer Picture from the list of available content and select Confirm Download
8. Upon the successful completion of the Gamer Picture download, you will see a Thank You for Downloading message.
You can also access the free Skate 2 Demo Gamer Picture via the banner ads running on the Xbox LIVE dashboard.
Sweepstakes Entry
After you register, earn a sweepstakes entry by downloading the free Skate 2 demo from Marketplace between 3:01 A.M. ET on January 8 and 11:55 P.M. ET on January 15, 2009 (limit one entry per person). You can queue up the free demo here at Marketplace on Xbox.com and it will automatically download to your console the next time you connect to Xbox LIVE.
*Note* You cannot queue up the download until it has appeared on the Marketplace which will be on January 8th 2009

After the close of the Entry Period, we will randomly select the following winners from among all eligible entries.
