Developer Dimfrost Studio (@dimfroststudio) has released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming story-driven, Nordic-inspired horror game Bramble: The Mountain King. Following their E3 reveal during the IGN Expo, the developers are now ready to reveal another sneak peek of Bramble’s gameplay and how it fits within the lavish game world.
Coming to PC and console in 2022, Bramble: The Mountain King sees players take on the role of a young boy who together with his big sister, is lost in a magical forest. On their journey, they will meet and interact with gnomes, trolls, and other creatures inspired by Nordic folk-lore.
The new gameplay trailer showcases a new glimpse into the Bramble world as well as some of the curious inhabitants of the magical forest, and how players will interact with them on their journey. The trailer also teases some of the games’ combat, stealth mechanics and environmental puzzles including navigating a group of tiny gnomes across a dangerous path.
“Our goal for Bramble is to create a living and strange world filled with mysterious and mythical creatures. They will not only be a passive part of the world but also an active part of your journey. Some of them will help you, some of them need your help, and some of them just want to eat you! They live in this world and players will interact with their everyday lives.” said Fredrik Selldén, the CEO of Dimfrost. “Our gameplay and storytelling will support that feeling” added Fredrik.
Bramble: The Mountain King is a story-driven adventure/horror game focused on atmospheric environments, high-end graphics, cinematic moments and casual gameplay. Throughout the game you will embark on a journey through the dark world of Bramble where you will encounter “David vs Goliath” bosses and explore and traverse Nordic nature. You will meet interesting creatures and experience a unique world filled with Nordic fables and fairy tales.
Bramble: The Mountain King Features:

Story-driven gameplay with stunning cinematic moments and ‘David and Goliath’ boss fights.

Demon Turf, the new devilishly unique 3D action platformer is set to launch in retail on January, 11th, 2022 for Xbox Series X/S.
The Demon World is fully inhabited by gangs of nasty bad guys battling for dominion, each led by its own head honcho and yet, none of them are a match for the Demon King himself. Until Beebz decides to take things into her own hands to dethrone the king. Players will take on the role of the young demon who at just 1,000 years old has decided to take them all on to become the Demon Queen herself.
A unique aesthetic combining the expressiveness of 2D illustrations with the depth and sense of exploration 3D environments can offer.
A world chock-full of humor and style, from the music accompanied by the protagonist’s rapping to the colorful characters inhabiting the world.
A unique take on progression that lets players take a victory lap and explore previously beaten levels to discover their liberated state, with plenty of mechanical and environmental changes to uncover.
Clever platforming combinations and a special physics-driven combat system that ramps up the chaos and fun so players can push, pull and spin enemies out of their way.
A different take on checkpoints frees the player to place them wherever they want, so they can show off without them for a perfect run, or place one in preparation for a challenging section.
The retail edition of Demon Turf is available for preorder at Amazon for $24.99 for the Xbox Series X/S. It is currently available digitally for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
ELEX II (@Elex_Game), the upcoming open-world role-playing experience from the award-winning creators of the Gothic and Risen series, will release on March 31st, 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. The Skyands are coming - and we need to defend Magalan. Stop fighting each other and focus on the real enemy of our world!
Five major factions are holding the power in Magalan. The Berserkers are skilled magicians, who use the power of Elex to perform all different kinds of spells. They have managed to transform the desert of Tavar into a green and lush utopia and have established an outpost in the former stronghold of the Outlaws. This faction is scattered throughout Magalan - some outlaws have joined the Berserkers when they took over Tavar, some moved to the crater landscape of Ateris, and have continued their life of crime.
The Albs have learned from their defeat in ELEX and have returned as a playable faction. Jax can once again choose to become an Alb Commander. They have reduced their usage of Elex drastically, as they have seen how effective an Alb with actual emotions can be when Jax brought down the Hybrid. They are still not the most joyful lot, but their combat prowess makes them an interesting choice. Faction number four is the Clerics, who are famous for their love of engineering and crafting powerful combat robots powered by Elex. The Clerics paid a high price in the war against the Albs. Not only did they lose their home in Ignadon but many of their brothers and sisters fell on the battlefield as well.
Publisher Deep Silver Volition announced today that Saints Row (@SaintsRow) will no longer release on the originally announced date of 25th February 2022, instead it will launch worldwide on 26th August 2022.
Jim Boone, Chief Creative Officer, Volition had this to say:
Our priority is to create the best Saints Row game yet and, if we released on the original date, it wouldn’t be up to the standards we’ve set ourselves, and that you’re expecting and deserve. The team just need more time to do our vision justice; we’re doing some fine tuning and there won’t be much change in the game outside of overall quality and polish.
In all honesty, we underestimated the impact COVID would have on our schedule, although everyone adapted very quickly to the working from home arrangement and continued to be incredibly productive. However, due to the size and scope of our new Saints Row, it’s become apparent that to create the best game possible, we need to give our team longer to perfect their craft.
