tinyBuild Games confirmed that 80’s-inspired cyberpunk-themed game Punch Club 2: Fast Foward, the sequel to the successful fighting management simulator from Lazy Bear Games, is launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam, Epic, GOG) this year.
It’s been 20 long years since a nameless cool guy punched the big bad and everyone was really happy or something. Welcome to the future: it’s corrupt, sea shells have replaced toilet rolls, and everything's cyberpunk now. Walk the same, but now neon, streets Roy did as you're thrown into an adventure filled with hilarity, 80’s nostalgia, and punching. Even more punching than before. The mean streets of the under-city are a disease, but you could be the cure. Fighting is the only way to blow off steam and earn valuable good person points, which you’re going to need, kid.
Life in the rat race is fast-paced, time-consuming, and requires effective management to survive, and Punch Club 2: Fast Forward is the same! It’s literally a simulation game! Manage your time and funds, whilst climbing to the top of the fighting leagues, solving crimes, working for the police, mob, mafia, and about anyone else you cross paths with. Whilst nothing beats good old-fashioned blood, sweat, and tears, neuro training and illegal software sure sound tempting. Jaspel and Different Tales confirmed their inventory management roguelike, Backpack Hero, will be exiting Steam Early Access and releasing on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC in May. Check out the new console announcement trailer!
During its Early Access phase,Backpack Hero has attracted 180,000 players with its compelling twist on the standard deck-building roguelike. Success in each combat encounter isn’t about what you carry, but how you organize items in your bag.
Described as “the next big thing” by Splattercatgaming and “utterly enthralling” by GameSpew, Backpack Hero offers a roster of five heroes to choose from, each with a unique pool of items and abilities that completely change the way you play. Green Man Gaming and developers Pewter Games and LoPoly revealed that Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator (@FilthyAnimalsHS) will release on Xbox and PlayStation consoles alongside the PC version via Steam Crossplay and Epic Store in 2023.
Filthy Animals is a hilarious and chaotic co-op heist game for 1-4 players. Become a mutant animal working for criminal mastermind Tony as you steal, fight, fall over, and eat tacos while trying to make off with the loot! Solve puzzles, avoid security, and bumble your way to victory.
PC fans recently got some hands-on time with the Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator multiplayer playtest on Steam, and the feedback has been fantastic. The game saw over 50,000 downloads across 30 countries globally, with fans wreaking havoc over three heists and a 50/50 split of those players playing solo and those who teamed up and took on the challenges together. Filthy Animals is shaping up to be a must-have co-op title for fans, with an already impressive 4.2 / 5 average review score (with more improvements being added before launch).
