EA and DICE have announced that Battlefield 3: Aftermath, the fourth downloadable expansion pack for Battlefield 3, will be available for premium members to download on December 4th on both the Xbox 360 and PC. PS3 premium players gain access November 27th.
Set amongst the shattered districts, streets and surrounding villages of a post-earthquake Tehran, Battlefield 3: Aftermath depicts a continuing struggle for supremacy and survival amongst the devastation.
With operational capacity severely compromised the opposing forces must adapt and engage in vertical and horizontal urban combat amongst the dust and rubble with cracks and fissures in the terrain providing unexpected cover and paths to objectives. Additional support comes in the form of heavily modified troop transports and civilian vehicles specially adapted to deliver deadly force to the enemy.

Gearbox Software said that it will issue the update as "soon as possible" after being informed of an external application sabotaging user accounts.
"After extensive internal testing, an update to prevent this disruption has been submitted to Microsoft and will be released as soon as possible," said community manager Chris Faylor.
"Until then, concerned Xbox 360 players of Borderlands 2 should consider playing online with trusted individuals in non-public sessions. This does not affect players on PC or PlayStation 3."
The studio also recommended selecting the 'save and quit' option before exiting the game.
