The newly announced arcade game is the first game to have camera functionality
April 26, 2006 - The camera Microsoft has been teasing us with for some time now appears to be coming out soon. Although, with the launch of the camera there needs to be games that actually support it. The new arcade game announced about a week ago, UNO, has stepped up to the plate.
The game will feature full camera functionality. The camera will be accessed through the Dashboard's arcade menu where a camera icon will appear in the right hand corner. Once the game is started, the options menu will be host for a dedicated video setup wizard. Once video is established, an alert will appear on the screen followed by streaming video.
Ubisoft has confirmed that a GRAW demo is headed to the Xbox Live Marketplace. They have not however provided anymore details such as what kind of demo (single player or multiplayer) or the release date. The full game is slated to ship on March 7th, so I would image the demo to be out a few weeks before that.
Original game creator Patrick Buckland and his team at Stainless Games has taken the classic Crystal Quest and rejuventated it - making it faster, sparklier, crazier, and with more color than ever!
What's more, as well as offering this great new next-gen version of the game with all-new graphics, special effects, sounds and gameplay enhancements, fans of the original will find they can also play Crystal Quest in classic ‘old-school’ style as well.
For those who just can't get enough shiny new things, there will also be a number of fun Content Packages available to download from day one, so for just a few Microsoft Points you can customize your game with even more new graphics and/or sound effects!
As usual you can download a free demo with the full version costing 400 marketplace points ($5).
