Telltale Games has released the first episode of The Walking Dead videogame series based on Robert Kirkman's Eisner Award-winning comic book series via Xbox LIVE.
The first episode of this highly anticipated videogame is now available for download for 400 Microsoft Points ($5) on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Episode one weighs in at 413.04 MB, check out the free demo.
Episode one of a five-part game series set in the same universe as Robert Kirkman’s award-winning series. Play as Lee Everett, a convicted criminal, who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead. Microsoft has confirmed it will be first up at this years E3 press conference. E3 2012 will be held on Monday, June 4 at 10:00am PDT, 6:00pm in the UK, and June 5 at 3:00am EST in Australia.
Last year’s MS conference saw the announcement of a new Halo trilogy for 360. Kinect also took centre stage, with motion support being announced for various big hitters such as Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Mass Effect 3, and Fable: The Journey. A demo for Modern Warfare 3 had kicked off the show.
This year promises some interesting announcements, however Microsoft’s debunked rumours about the reveal of a next-gen Xbox console.
Expect the Nintendo conference to be held the following day.
DICE reveals Donya Fortress and the new Conquest Domination Mode with the release of the second gameplay trailer from the upcoming expansion pack Battlefield 3: Close Quarters.
Battlefield 3: Close Quarters is a massive themed expansion pack featuring frantic and relentless infantry combat on four highly competitive indoor maps. The Close Quarters expansion pack for Battlefield 3 contains four new maps, 10 new weapons that you can bring back to the base game, new Assignments, and a bunch of new dog tags to start collecting.
The tight level design and many opportunities for vertical gameplay in Close Quarters mean players will need to bring their "A" game if they want to stay alive in this highly competitive theater of war.
The next expansion pack, "Armored Kill", focuses on expansive outdoor maps filled with vehicles, and will be released after Close Quarters .
Close Quarters will launch in June and will be priced at 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).
