This story sounds like something straight from a conspiracy novel. It involves Suicide, disapearance, scientology, Paranoia and even a connection to Rockstar Games.
The Players.
Theresa Duncan. Filmmaker, Former videogame designer and creator of games for girls such as Chop Suey, Smarty and Zero Zero.
Jeremy Blake. Up and coming Digital artist, thought to be the next big thing in the art industry, Just accepted a Position with RockstarGames as a Graphic Designer And long time boyfriend to Theresa Duncan
Beck. Music artist, Rockstar, practicing Scientologist.
On July 10th the body of Theresa Duncan was found in an East village apartment she shared with her long time boyfriend Jeremy Blake, The victim of an apparent suicide. On July 17th only a week after Theresa was found dead, A tall naked man (believed to be Jeremy) was seen walking into the ocean at New York's Rockaway Beach, the man was not seen again. Under the beach's pier were found a pile of cloths, Jeremy Blakes wallet and a suicide note. No body has of yet been recovered.
A Close friend of the couple stated that Theresa and Jeremy began acting strangely in 2004, 2 years after jeremy did an alblum cover for the rock star Beck ( a practicing scientologist ). The couple mentioned to many of thier friends that scientologists were harassing and stalking them. The friend reported that the couples concern and or paranoia became much more apparent and active in the last few months.
Becks camp reports that they have no knowlege of any harassment and that the relationship between Beck and Jeramy was very friendly. Representatives of the Church of scientology deny any envolvement in harassing or stalking the couple and Police at this time do not suspect any wrong doing. Another friend of Jeremy questioned on the subject said he rather not say anything at this time because of the chance that Jeremy might still be alive.
One of Jeremy's work buddies at Rockstar said Jeremy realy looked like a rock star, wearing sunglasses at work even inside, and sipped whiskey while doing his Graphic Work.
There have been no reports of drug use and both theresa and Jeremy were said to be very hard working and very happy with what they had accomplished and where they were going in thier careers, friends say they cant believe that they would just give up everything they had worked so hard for.
